Arthur J Gallagher to raise $200m in stock sale

Broker to fund further acquisitions through sale.

Arthur J Gallagher is to raise up to $200m (£124m) through a sale of its common stock in order to fund future acquisitions as well as for general corporate purposes.

The broker has engaged Morgan Stanley as a sales agent for its at-the-market equity program.

According to a statement from Gallagher, any sale of the common stock under this program “will generally be made through ordinary broker’s transactions, including on the New York Stock Exchange, and sold at market prices or as otherwise
