Broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson has maintained double-digit-percentage growth in 2003 and intends to continue to strengthen the group through strategic acquisitions and recruitment.

JLT saw turnover increase 10% to £429m and profit before tax rise 11% to £113.7m. In the UK and Ireland, its mid-market retail broking activities recorded an 18% increase in revenue and improved margins from 21% to 22%.
