Allianz Cornhill's national sales manager, Colin Bates, revealed thatthe insurer is looking at a new system to service the small broker market,and could well decide to set up two dedicated call centres to handleenquiries.
Mr Bates said smaller brokers made up 60% of its broker base, but producedonly 6% of its premium income. "However, that 6% is very profitablebusiness, and we are looking at how we can provide the appropriate levelof service to those brokers," he said.
