Commitment, trust and empathy: Local knowledge and working in close proximity to clients should help to build relationships between insurers and brokers, explains Nick Hobbs

How do you show a business partner that you genuinely value the relationship you have with them? 

Many business theorists have concluded that commercial relationships work at their best when they are built on commitment, trust and empathy. 

When I apply this theory against our strategic decision to build and maintain a branch network to work locally with brokers, it is clear that these positive relationship markers go a long way in explaining why it’s such a successful model.
