
Flood response is a timely reminder
The findings of the Food and Rural Affairs Committee into the government's response to last year's floods make grim reading. The failures of government and local authorities should act as a reminder for insurers to do everything they can to ensure their own response to these disasters is fast and efficient. Technology that allows for digital storage of policy documents and receipts is just one solution insurers can offer their clients to facilitate the claims process.
