Relationships are, and probably always will be, a key factor in the brokered general insurance industry, and all those brokers attending this year's Biba conference in Brighton will no doubt be working overtime to renew old acquaintances and make new ones. And not just with insurers and service providers, but also other brokers with a view to future collaboration, acquisition or merger.
