Brexit will have no significant impact on business, says Aviva

The insurer insists its capital position is "resilient to market stress".

Insurer Aviva has said that Britain's recent decision to leave the European Union would have "no significant operational impact on the company", adding that its capital position is "resilient to market stress".

A report released by analysts at Macquarie Research saw the insurer's stock upgraded from 'neutral' to 'outperform'.

However the analysts lowered its price target for the insurer to 442p from 502p (on lower expected earnings).
