Jelf Group post-tax profits soar by 40%

Broking division also delivers substantial profit and revenue growth in annual results.

Jelf Group has reported a 40.4% jump in post-tax profits to £6.5m for the year ended 30 September 2014, up from £4.6m in 2013.

The business delivered an 8.4% rise in revenues to £82.6m (2013: £76.2m) as Ebitda leapt 32.4% to £14.6m (2013: £11m).

Broking
The business' insurance broking division is the largest part of the group representing 67% of total revenue - the group also offers financial planning and employee benefits services.

The broking division achieved a 14.4% uplift in revenues to £55
