Lark Group posts Ebitda and turnover rises

Broker records 7.8% Ebitda increase for 2013 in first full results since MBO from Groupama.

Lark Group recorded a 7.8% rise in Ebitda to £6m for 2013, up on the £5.6m posted for 2012.

In the broker's first full year of results following the completion of its MBO from Groupama, turnover also edged up 3.6% to £24.5m.

Lark's Ebitda margin crept up to 24.4% from 23.5% however, according to last year's results, pre-tax profit dropped to £3.3m from £5.5m.

The broker said this followed a full year of interest and goodwill amortisation costs for the group.

FCA warns on Tempcover clone

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG
