Gallaghers aims to break $2bn revenue barrier

Investec has completed three exits in three months

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co’s half year results for 2011 have revealed a 13% rise in brokerage to $717.6m (£439m) (H1 2010: $635.2m).

Its brokerage EBITAC also jumped by 14%, to $152.6m (H1 2010: $134.4m) and as an overall group - including brokerage and risk management - its revenues jumped 15% to $981.7m (H1 2010: $857.1m).

On the purchase of Heath Lambert, AJ Gallagher said that it reported revenues of $20.6m in Q2 of 2011 and was estimated to be on track to record revenue of $67m in the second half of 2011, $161m in 2012 and $167m in 2013.

Heath's EBITDAC (excluding integration costs) is reported to be $3.4m in Q2 2010
