Risk management/claims: South West dominates safest place to rent list
The south west of England experiences the lowest levels of rented accommodation burglary, according to new research by Endsleigh Let.
The findings, which identify the top 10 safest towns and cities in the UK for rented accommodation burglary, include four areas in the south west of England: Bournemouth, Swindon, Bath and Plymouth.
Colchester was found to be the safest town with over three quarters (77%) fewer claims than the national average.
Seven out of the top 10 cities were located in the south of England, with two in the east of England (Norwich and Ipswich) and just one in the north of England (Preston).
