Confused creates new marketing role

Price comparison site Confused has announced the appointment of Mike Hoban to the newly-created position of chief marketing officer.

Mr Hoban, who will report directly to CEO Carlton Hood, joins from Directgov, where he spent 18 months as the communications director. His previous roles include senior marketing positions at British Airways, Barclaycard and WH Smith.
