Planet opens doors following Allen acquisition
Markerstudy Insurance Group has increased its shareholding in subsidiary underwriting vehicle Planet Insurance Company following the acquisition of shares from Tony Allen of the Allen & Allen Group, a founding shareholder.
The acquisition allows the restructuring of Planet Insurance Company’s business to enable direct trading with all agents from 1 January 2004 with access to the motor insurance products of Planet Insurance Company no longer limited to brokers holding a Premium Line agency.As part of the restructuring, Neil Lake has been appointed business development director for the Markerstudy Group and Steve Twidell as operations manager for the Markerstudy Group, being responsible for the administration of
