Home and motor insurance providers are missing out on online sales by failing to provide human contact, according to research from Rostrvm Solutions.

The survey revealed that despite consumers' reluctance to invest in such products without person-to-person contact, just 12% of insurance websites offered a 'call me back' function. It also found that while the majority of buyers explore insurance products online, many still view human contact as key to the purchase itself.
