Car insurance advertising could this year top £200m for the first time, Sainsbury's Bank has predicted. Launching its new national marketing campaign, the bank highlighted the competitiveness of the motor insurance sector and estimated 18.3 million drivers obtain more than one quote and so consider switching providers. The bank said that if all motorists switched to the most competitive 25% insurers, they could collectively save up to £1.17bn on their premiums.
