Ascot Underwriting increases automation of claims processes

Ascot Underwriting has increased the automation of its claims processes, becoming the first client to roll out Xchanging's Claims Office of the Future. The system, designed in partnership with Lloyd's, segments the claims process by automating simple claims and allowing underwriters to spend more time on complex claims. Lord Levene, chairman of Lloyd's, welcomed the move, which he said will drive cost efficiencies and improved service. However, he warned change must be made across the board
