Insurance employees bemoan their bosses' resistance to work web use

A new survey has revealed a rift between employer and employee attitudes to internet and technology usage in the insurance industry.

Data collected by the Chartered Management Institute has shown that while most employees expressed enthusiasm for internet-based applications in the workplace, many employers view internet activity as a "massive timewaster".
