The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has called for an effective professional framework to complement the Financial Services Authority's principles-based regulatory regime, and to improve standards in the industry. In its submission to the regulator's Retail Distribution Review, the CII set out proposals and a road map towards enhancing professionalism of the retail financial services sector.
