Research published by the Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) shows a buoyant financial services industry in Wales. The industry outperforms most other employment sectors in the country on a number of key performance indicators, such as availability and skills of staff. The survey found that 41% of those working in the Welsh financial services sector are based in Cardiff. In addition, significantly more women (58%) than men are employed in the financial services sector compared to the rest
