- Aon has appointed Peter Dobbs as UK chairman of marine. Leading a team of 110 employees across the UK, Peter will be responsible for driving client service, strategic planning and developing new business from the global Aon network. Peter, who takes over from Nigel Roberts, was previously chief executive officer of Aon Professional Risks. He joined the broker in 1989 following three years as lead underwriter with AIG.
