North London firm ... Marrs Insurance Brokers, which controls premiums of £5m, has been acquired by the Towergate Partnership. Under the deal, all 12 staff and MD Mark Coffer will make the move to Towergate. The Marrs team will become part of Towergate ARGl later in the year, and Mr Coffer will be the new MD of the Towergate ARG team. Meanwhile, Towergate has acquired Scottish broking firm J W Group Insurance and Risk Management, which controls premiums of £19m.
