Intermap Technologies has completed its NEXTMap Britain landscape map, after capturing terrain data of Scotland. The map now provides full coverage of England, Scotland and Wales. The terrain data was acquired over three weeks from a Learjet using airborne radar, at an altitude of 20,000-28,000ft. The map provides customers with accurate and detailed digital elevation models of the ground, with an elevation point provided every five metres and a vertical accuracy of one metre.
