Insurance companies have hit out at what they describe as the "spurious" claims being made by many of the broker networks. Brendan McManus, director, corporate business, Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) told Insurance Age the reality was that many of the claims being made by the networks were way over the top.
"Very few of them are adding any real value over and above the normal relationship we already have with our brokers," commented Mr McManus.
