Research published by the Chartered Management Institute and Centre for Applied Human Resource Research has found that internet access is readily available for 90% of senior managers in the insurance sector. The research, outlined in a report called Realising Value from Online Learning, also found that 67% admitted they spent 30 minutes or less using company intranets, the internet or e-learning materials to solve any one problem. In addition, only 52% had made use of online management resources
