CII London Market appoints new chairman
David Gittings has stepped down as chairman of the London Market Faculty board with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Adrian Ballardie of Tokio Marine Global, has been appointed to take up the position.
Mr Ballardie's chairmanship will focus on supporting the CII's professionalism drive within general insurance initiatives and continuing the debate on issues around professional qualifications.
The new chairman thanked David Gittings for his service by saying: "David put much time and energy into preparing for the meetings, promoting the views and suggestions emanating from the committee and his range of knowledge and experience enabled him to bring valuable guidance to the various issues
