Biba appoint business continuity associate
Business continuity planning consultancy Crisis Survivor has been appointed as an associate firm by the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba).
As an associate firm, Crisis Survivor, who provides risk management strategies for SMEs, will benefit from having an official relationship with Biba, giving them access to all Biba members.
Crisis Survivor will also have access to Biba events, such as training days, conferences and regional seminars, that are usually restricted to members only. Associates can benefit from working relationships with companies who are already working alongside Biba, and also with members that do not qualify as partners, such as insurers, loss adjusters and others who deal directly with insurance.
Leighann Burtrand, communications manager of Biba said: "Crisis Survivor's appointment as an associate demonstrates their commitment to brokers. The appointment will benefit Biba members in that it opens up a dialogue between ourselves and Crisis Survivor to discuss and raise issues that are relevant to members and for them to share their expertise in their field."
Tony Gimple, managing director of Crisis Survivor, added: "We are delighted to be working together with Biba and, by extending our working relationships, we hope to reach a wider audience and give as many brokers as possible the benefit of our knowledge and experience.
"Many brokers are unaware of the risks that their businesses could face and, as the first ever single company offering multiple provider solutions at Biba, we feel we can help them by offering a specially tailored service that fits all of their requirements and fully protects their business."
