He may no longer be the firebrand of old, but having resurrected Heath Lambert, Adrian Colosso has shown he has lost none of his steely resolve. Martin Friel asks him about the past five turbulent years and his vision for the future

Adrian Colosso is sitting in his newly refurbished boardroom, his leg swathed in plaster - the result of a broken ankle. One could be forgiven for imagining that this injury was the result of one of his infamous fits of pique, but it was actually picked up while sledging with his granddaughter. A far cry from the sort of behaviour that earned Mr Colosso a reputation as a firebrand, but entirely in keeping with a man who has mellowed since becoming group chief executive of Heath Lambert four

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
