In our increasingly looks-obsessed society there is evidence to suggest that more emphasis is placed on physical appearance than is useful, leaving organisations vulnerable to loss of talent and customers, damage to reputation and even claims of discrimination.

Changing Faces champion Adam Pearson (pictured) has a rare condition called Neurofibromatosis. It causes benign tumours to grow on his face. In an experiment on Channel 4’s Beauty and the Beast: The Ugly Face of Prejudice, Adam enquired
