Sweeten the experience

While the claims sector is steadily building its reputation for service, the number of people seeking a career in claims seems to be stalling. Liz Booth explains how firms should be enticing potential entrants to enter the profession

The 'brain drain' in the claims sector is over - or at least nearly over - according to a recent survey from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Claims Faculty. Its report, The Evolution of Claims, found that two-thirds of claims professionals believe that the talent drain in the sector will stall, or start to turn the corner, in the next five years.
