Country Mutual Insurance Brokers (CMIB) is a top 50 independent broker, predominantly commercial lines focused and owned by insurer NFU Mutual. Growth in the company has been rapid with the acquisition of over 20 brokerages in recent years including, in late 2003, the Beckett Group, which operates largely from Bury St Edmunds.
