Lloyd’s launches investigation into former CEO Neal’s conduct

John Neal

Lloyd’s has launched an investigation into former CEO John Neal looking into an alleged workplace affair.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Lloyd’s investigation is focusing on the nature of Neal’s apparent relationship with Rebekah Clement, who was promoted a newly created role of director of corporate affairs in July 2023. Clement reported directly to Neal, pictured.

Clement insists her appointment was above board, the paper noted.

“The revised framework will enhance strategic oversight and ensure alignment with statutory responsibilities. This will be announced shortly.”
