Warren Downey

CEO Warren Downey tells Sian Barton why SRG has something different to offer than the other players in the M&A space.

Specialist Risk Group is gearing up for a busy year following an undisclosed investment by private equity provider HGGC at the end of 2020.

The business which focuses on specialist providers (the clue is in the name) has already acquired two companies in 2021. Namely KBIS, an equestrian broker based in Newbury, and GB Underwriting which is a construction focused managing general agent.

Insurance Age caught up with CEO Warren Downey to find out more about his plans for the business in 2021.
