Aviva chairman joins Cable’s group

The government has confirmed the members of the Business Advisory Group established last month with the remit of acting in an advisory capacity to Vince Cable, Secretary of State, Business, Innovation and Skills.

Lord Sharman, chairman of Aviva and Liberal Democrat business spokesperson in the House of Lords is a member of the group. He is joined by Professor John Kay - visiting professor of economics at the London School of Economics and Rachel Lomax - non-executive director of HSBC.

Vicky Pryce CB - chief economic adviser and director general at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and joint head of the UK Government Economic Service will formally join the group later this summer when she

AUB reports Momentum and Movo deal costs
