The Quotel and Grapevine systems will not last beyond October 2004,
according to David Rasche, chief executive of Software Solutions
Partners.

Mr Rasche said the systems would not be upgraded to meet the requirements
of the Financial Services Authority and would therefore be obsolete after
that date. The systems could even be withdrawn earlier than this and Mr
Rasche described October 2004 as "our last date for withdrawal".

He admitted there is lots of work to be done on the remaining SSP
products
