Norwich Union and Cornhill are backing new venture Personal Insurance Plan. The insurers are underwriting PIP household insurance policies and are providing 24-hour claims helplines.The 24-hour line gives PIP household insurance policyholders access to trained claims managers. Removing the need for laborious claims forms, these managers will also aim to reduce payment delays and give progress reports.
PIP was formed two months ago, in a joint venture by brokers BCML Connect and service
