Brokers are changing the way they sell legal expenses insurancebecause of the availability of instant web quotes in this market,
according to DAS. Brokers now seek electronic quotes before meeting with
clients, meaning legal expenses insurance is now offered with initial
presentations, not tacked on afterwards. Richard Scott Smith, broker
manager at DAS, said: "A rapid quote can make the difference between a
broker recommending legal protection or leaving it out of the
presentation."
