At least 1000 brokers still need to upgrade their software systems toensure they are millennium-compliant.
This is the latest finding from the BIIBA/Insurers Year 2000 Project.
BIIBA is stressing to brokers that the onus is on them to check out their
own situation with their software house. The project has also carried out
spot checks on the 12 main broker software houses to make sure that they
are up to scratch with millennium compliance.
