Kent broker Bishops has acquired two local firms, including BluettSmith & Co, one of the oldest brokers in the country. Bluett was founded
in 1988 and is a commercial broker with a similar client profile to
Bishops. Jones Lane Insurance Services is a specialist wholesale and
retail marine broker based in Maidstone. Its office will be closed and all
business will transfer to Bluett's Beckenham premises.
