How to deal with stressed employees.

Q: Three of my employees have recently been off work sick with stress. Is there anything I can or should do about this and are there any risks if I just do nothing?

Brokers are constantly being warned of the threat of legal action if
they do not effectively deal with stress in the workplace.


Indeed, many brokers now believe stress is a major obstacle to the growth
and productivity of their business.


Unfortunately, an increasing number of employees seem to be taking
advantage of the situation by submitting sick notes claiming to be
suffering from stress. In reality, only a minority of employees are
affected.
