Following Groupama's relaunch of its fleet policy in August, the
insurer is now offering a personal car plan protection facility for
business use of privately-owned vehicles. The policy enables businesses to
insure employees' privately-owned vehicles as a fleet and is aimed at
those businesses that pay cash benefits in lieu of a company car.

Groupama expects that 'cash for car' schemes will largely replace
traditional fleet arrangements in the future as a result of punitive
taxes. Roger Nash
