Misys has joined forces with Allianz Cornhill, Axa, Groupama, NorwichUnion, Royal & Sun Alliance and Zurich, to develop a business to business
internet portal, linking insurers and intermediaries.
Called i2i-link, the site has gone live but will not become interactive
until July 2001. The technology allows rate and product changes to be made
within 48 hours, and intermediaries will have 24-hour interactive access
to insurer systems. This will also enable intermediaries to quote, to
download policy
