The high net worth sector seems to be waking up to the benefits of the internet, after Hiscox launched an extranet system. However, Angela Faherty questions whether HNW clients will still prefer the personal touch.

Hiscox's decision to transfer some of its broker submissions to an
extranet system is indicative of a new development in the high net worth
insurance market.


Hiscox's automation process aims to offer a greater level of efficiency to
brokers and enable insurers to write more mid net worth policies. Guy
