Takaful, or Islamic insurance, will be highlighted at a two-day conference organised by the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance, 26-27 September at the London Hilton Metropole. The conference, which includes speakers such as Stella Cox, Dawnay Day Global Investment UK, and Mian Ikram Shakir, chief executive officer and group chief actuary of FWU International Luxembourg, will look at why traditional insurance products are unsuitable for Muslims.
