MCS has been awarded a SMART Grant of over £90,000 by the Departmentof Trade and Industry, towards the development of a new e-commerce tool
set. The company expects to deliver its first products using the tool set
by the end of 2001. MCS hopes to enable users to deliver quotation
products to the desktops of its agents and sub-brokers in the first
instance, followed by business-to-consumer trading with an affinity group
in 2002.
