Ace is to axe 250 of its property and casualty broker agencies. SteveBurridge, the insurer's business development manager, said Ace will not
offer new property and casualty business to the brokers, though it will
continue to renew existing cover. Ace will continue to provide accident
and health, directors' and officers' and excess casualty cover to affected
brokers, but via e-mail only.
Ace has already started to inform affected brokers, and should have
completed the process by mid October.
