Hiscox is making further in-roads into the IT and communicationssector, with the launch of its insurance product for Internet encryption
experts, E-Certify.
The policy offers protection against financial loss from e-commerce
security breaches. It also provides encryption software and certificates
to individuals and websites using the Internet. Those who have such a
certificate can then prove compliance with the Public Key Infrastructure,
which is the industry standard for secure credit card
