Direct Line to spend £50m on e-motor.

The speed of getting business up and running again following a disaster, boils down to the quality of your recovery programme.

Direct Line is investing £50m in a new e-commerce portal for
motorists, which it will use, in part, to boost online sales of both its
motor policies and its car financing products.


The direct insurer said it is looking to create the UK's leading motoring
site, which will involve partnerships with manufacturers and companies
associated with the motor industry. The site will be closely linked with
Direct Line's insurance quotation site - directline.com.
