Research from Improveline has shown many brokers would welcome
greater use of the internet in claims. Some 64% said they would use the
facility to check the progress of a claim and 36% would like to be more
involved in the claims process. The report highlights the fact increasing
the use of the internet would be cost-effective for insurers as they would
have more time to concentrate on handling and settling the claim.
