Damian Keeling, managing director of Kendal-based luxury car wholesaler Peart Associates, is making his mark on the firm - it is insuring motorbikes for the first time.
Keeling, formerly managing director of motorcycle specialist Carole Nash, said Peart was aiming to replicate the success it has had in the performance car market by moving into motorbike insurance.
