Phillip Bell, chief executive officer at Misys General Insurance has said the that outlook for the next financial year is "extremely promising" after unveiling record profits for the year ending 31 May 2005.

He said "customers want to work with fewer, larger suppliers." Year-on-year operating profit at the firm rose £1m from £15m to £16m, while revenues climbed to £34m, an 8% increase from 2003/04. Contracts with firms such as Carole Nash and Towergate, including the consolidation of nine
